Guide to Operation Correction Field Updates

The Operation Correction field passes correction data to CDK during the RO export and overwrites the existing story in CDK. This feature is available to Service Managers, Parts Managers, and General Managers.

Enable the Feature

To enable Operation Correction field exports:

1. Go to Admin > Customize Your Database > Location Information.

2. Click the Features tab.

   

3. In the right column, find Enable Operation Correction in Case Export (CDK only).
4. Set the option to Yes.
5. Click Save Changes.

Export a Correction

Once enabled, the Operation Correction field is included automatically each time you export a case to RO. No additional steps are required — the correction passes to CDK and overwrites the existing story on export.
